Georgia Tech has always embraced outreach as a high priority for two reasons: it’s the right thing to do and it makes good business sense.

Members of the Tech community are eager to offer their support and expertise to residents of our adjacent neighborhoods, educators and businesses across the state of Georgia and the Southeast region, and a wide variety of constituents around the world. That support comes in many forms, including tutoring and mentoring of local schoolchildren, (http://www.gov.gatech.edu/community/index.html) innovation support (http://innovate.gatech.edu) to help state and regional businesses thrive and compete in a global economy; technology curriculum enhancement in support of Georgia’s K-12 teachers and students (http://www.gov.gatech.edu/assets/2013K-12andBeyond_Download.pdf) ; and a vast array of educational and innovation partnerships (www.global.gatech.edu) in Europe, Asia, and Central America.

In our home city and around the globe, Georgia Tech is using its resources to shape a better world.
