The Band has Gone Country
Talk about some high-profile appearances! The Yellow Jacket Marching Band has appeared with some of country music's hottest stars over the past year—all of which have helped raise funds for the trip to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade® in New York.
On September 8, 2007, the band appeared at the Kenny Chesney and Sugarland concert—the last show of their 2007 summer tour. Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland surprised Kenny Chesney with an appearance of the Yellow Jacket Band during the concert at HiFi Buys Amphitheater in Atlanta. If that wasn't exciting enough, the band was then asked to perform with Keith Urban on April 24 and 25 at Gwinnett Arena.
