The Georgia Institute of Technology, an emerging leader in high-performance computing research and education, will command a significant presence at SC09. Returning to the Georgia Tech booth (# 132) is the "big screen," which will host booth presentations and video interviews from Institute experts on emerging high-performance computing projects and application areas.
Specific focus areas for these presentations include updates on Georgia Tech’s existing projects in multicore computing, massive data analysis, biomedical simulation and other areas of research focus.
Georgia Tech has a history of advancing high performance computing technologies as well as helping infuse their use into engineering and sciences, both locally and at the national level. The Institute’s mission is to improve the quality of life in our community, our state, and our nation by making breakthroughs in computational modeling methods and techniques to create novel solutions to real-world problems.
This is Georgia Tech's 13th year as an exhibitor at Supercomputing (SC). SC is the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis.
