As an expanded focal point within Georgia Tech Communications & Marketing, Internal Communications is dedicated to informing and engaging our internal audiences—faculty, staff, students, and parents—on the issues relevant to their position within the Georgia Tech community. Through collaboration, our goal is to provide tools and resources that will help individuals be more successful in their academic or professional career, broaden their institutional understanding, and discover the myriad benefits and opportunities available to them as a member of the campus community.

Student Communications

In addition to creating strategic tools and plans to steer student engagement, the student communications program consults with students, faculty, and staff on communications plans, marketing efforts, and events. Using market research and student feedback, the student communications program also creates and refines information channels that enable students to engage in discourse with the Institute.

Faculty/Staff Communications

Georgia Tech is a unique environment, with the strength of diversity across all employee strata. From research scientist to groundskeeper and professor to accountant, each plays a role in advancing the Institute's mission both on and off campus. Faculty/Staff Communication works with this diverse mix, enabling employees to become better informed and involved.

Parent Communications

The Parents Program, newly relocated within the Division of Student Affairs, facilitates communication between home and the Georgia Tech campus, sponsors events such as Family Weekend, and provides opportunities for involvement. Internal Communications is active in the development and coordination of a robust communications strategy for the Parents Program.
