The Department of Degree Certification within the Office of the Registrar is responsible for evaluating degree candidates and certifying that all graduation requirements have been met prior to the awarding of degrees. The Degree Certification office is located in room 103 of the Administration Building (Tech Tower). Contact the Registrar with questions related to your degree status, eligibility to participate in Commencement ceremonies, visa requests for international guests, and diploma issues.

The Career Services office provides career counseling and planning, seminars on job search-related topics, mock interviews, resume critiques, access to part-time and full-time job listings, salary surveys, recruiting information, resume referral services, and graduate school information. A comprehensive Career Library is located on the second floor of the Bill Moore Student Success Center, providing resources for both current students and alumni to develop effective job search strategies. Recruitment through on-campus interviewing occurs each semester and is available to all enrolled students and alumni up to two years after graduation.

Students interested in graduate studies at Georgia Tech should visit www.gradadmiss.gatech.edu. There, they can select Graduate Degree Programs to find out what programs are available and to link to Tech's graduate degree program Web pages for more information. Application deadlines and requirements vary by program, so it's important to start there.

All of Georgia Tech's graduate programs require the general test of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) except the Master of Business Administration program and the Executive Master of Science in Management of Technology program, which require GMAT scores. The TOEFL is required for citizens of most foreign countries.

Since 1908, the Association has served the graduates of the Institute and kept them connected to Tech. In addition, the Alumni Association provides several congratulatory gifts to all recent graduates, including a miniature Tech diploma and a few items to help Yellow Jackets show pride in their alma mater. Look for these in the mail after graduation.

The Alumni Association also supports alumni affinity groups, which allow graduates who shared common student experiences to stay connected.
