The name Ramblin’ Wreck was used in Tech’s earliest years and gained widespread recognition in the 1920s when Tech graduates built makeshift mechanical buggies to improve a poor transportation system in South America.

Klaus Advanced Computing Building

Georgia Tech’s ongoing commitment to campus sustainability received validation in May 2008 when the Christopher W. Klaus Advanced Computing Building (KACB), home to the College of Computing and the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, was awarded a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification.
