The name Ramblin’ Wreck was used in Tech’s earliest years and gained widespread recognition in the 1920s when Tech graduates built makeshift mechanical buggies to improve a poor transportation system in South America.

This schematic details the underground cisterns and the water reclamation system. Both storm water runoff and air conditioning condensate water are collected and used for irrigation at Klaus and around campus.
