Georgia Tech Recognizes National Campus Fire Safety Month

Each year, fires occur in college residence halls and off-campus housing, claiming lives and injuring college students. In recognition of National Campus Fire Safety Month, Georgia Tech hosted a fire safety event that was highlighted by the burning of a mock dorm room. More than 500 students watched as the room was engulfed in flames in less than two minutes.
