The name Ramblin’ Wreck was used in Tech’s earliest years and gained widespread recognition in the 1920s when Tech graduates built makeshift mechanical buggies to improve a poor transportation system in South America.
While the prototype versions of the projects contain visible electronics, the final production products would have smaller and more streamlined circuits.
