The Gold Tower Award for Annual Events recognizes outstanding events that have made a significant impact on advancing a college, unit, or Georgia Tech in general. This category includes events that occur on an annual or repeating basis, which may include homecoming activities, awards ceremonies, yearly celebrations, etc.
Judging Criteria
Judges will review and evaluate each entry based on the following:
- Does the event meet stated objectives and desired response?
- Does the event contribute to a memorable attendee experience?
- Does the event demonstrate effective planning and execution?
- Does the event display excellence and creativity in the application of design elements on collateral and displays?
- Does the event demonstrate proper application of unit-level and overall Georgia Tech branding?
Special Events
The Gold Tower Award for Special Events recognizes outstanding events that have made a significant impact on advancing a college, unit, or Georgia Tech in general. This category includes one-time special events, which may include dedications, major anniversaries, fundraisers, conferences, etc.
Judging Criteria
Judges will review and evaluate each entry based on the following:
- Does the event meet stated objectives and desired response?
- Does the event contribute to a memorable attendee experience?
- Does the event demonstrate effective planning and execution?
- Does the event display excellence and creativity in the application of design elements on collateral and displays?
- Does the event demonstrate proper application of unit-level and overall Georgia Tech branding?
