In anticipation of the annual campus Earth Day Celebration on April 19, every Friday until then will be a chance to hunt down tokens that can be redeemed for prizes at an Earth Day booth.
Each Friday, with the exception of March 22, the Earth Day Planning Committee will hide a Find-it Friday token in a "green" location somewhere on campus. If you find a token, bring it to the information booth at the Earth Day Celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and exchange it for a prize

The 2013 Earth Day celebration planning is already underway, and registration is now open for organizations and companies to sign up for booths.
Participants should focus their efforts on the theme "TECH for a Greener Future" and can request a booth slot at www.earthday.gatech.edu/registration.html. The event will take place Friday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Georgia Tech's 2013 Earth Day Celebration will take place on Friday, April 19, and you could design this year's T-shirt.
Design the artwork for the 16th annual celebration, and the winning design will be featured on the annual Earth Day T-shirt and other materials. Georgia
Tech may be the last place you would expect to discover the intersection of
fashion and sustainability, but the unusual collaboration will take place on
campus as part of Think Green Week. For
the first time ever, Georgia Tech is partnering with Bauder College of Fashion
to present a sustainable fashion show featuring vintage, repurposed and couture
designs.
The
unique fashion event, Throwaway Runway, will take place on Thursday, April 21,
from 11 a.m. – noon at the Georgia Tech Student Center.

Georgia Tech students, faculty and staff are invited to join the Earth Day Planning Committee. Members are expected to attend weekly meetings during the spring semester (on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) and actively participate in the planning of the 15th Annual Earth Day Celebration and Think Green Week events, which will be held from April 16 to 20.
