Biomedical Innovation and Development Conference

A one-and-a-half day "how-to" course for inventors, surgeons, clinicians and other healthcare providers interested in learning essential steps in developing ideas for new and improved medical products and techniques.

Topics include:

  • Proper documentation of ideas and concepts
  • Patent processes
  • Prototype development
  • Early stage funding options
  • Regulatory pathways for commercialization

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Medical Association of Georgia (MAG) through the joint sponsorship of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Georgia Tech Translational Research Institute for Biomedical Engineering and Science.
