
Reducing Greenhouse Gases May Not be Enough to Slow Climate Change
Because land use changes are responsible for 50 percent of warming in the U.S., policymakers need to address the influence of global deforestation and urbanization on climate change, in addition to greenhouse gas emissions, said Georgia Tech City and Regional Planning Professor Brian Stone.
