Dr. Subhrajit Guhathakurta, director of the Center for Geographic Systems, recently co-edited a special issue, Planning Support Toolkits for Building Sustainable Communities, in the Journal of Urban Technology. Guhathakurta, a well-known and highly regarded expert in this field,also has published the following article in the Journal of Environmental Science and Technology: "Functional Unit, Technological Dynamics, and Scaling Properties for the Life Cycle Energy of Residences"
