Bonnie Ferri received a 2012 Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching at the Women in Engineering Excellence Awards Banquet, held on March 29 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. This annual event is hosted by College of Engineering.

Dr. Ferri is a professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech and is also the associate chair for ECE Graduate Affairs. She was chosen for this honor based on nominations from female undergraduate engineering students and was recognized for her positive impact on students through her teaching excellence and her efforts to enrich the learning experience.

A member of the ECE faculty since 1988, Dr. Ferri specializes in systems and controls and computer systems and software.

About the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) is one of eight schools and departments in the College of Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. All ECE undergraduate and graduate programs are in the top 10 of the most recent college rankings by U.S. News & World Report.
