President Obama has nominated Marilyn Brown for a second term on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Valley Authority, one of the nation's largest utilities and an $11 billion a year entity.
Brown, a professor in the School of Public Policy, completed a two-year term on the board in May. Her nomination, along with four other nominations announced September 21st in a White House news release, are subject to Senate confirmation which is expected to occur after the November presidential election.
