In response to a series of concerns brought forth by senators and representatives in the Student Government Association (SGA), the organization passed a bill to sponsor a contest open to all Georgia Tech students to design a new SGA bill submission system. The bill allows for SGA to award $500 to three finalists, an additional $1,500 to a winner meeting the system requirements and an additional bounty of $1000 for a system that goes beyond basic expectations and features social and organizational aspects to serve as a JacketPages replacement.

Senators and Representatives often sponsor bills related to the distribution of funds to student organizations across campus, making this system something that indirectly affects a large portion of the student body.

A complete list of specifications for this system and submission information is available online from SGA. Additional questions may be submitted online via e-mail. Entries are due by Wednesday, March 16; after naming finalists and a winner, SGA hopes to implement a new system by July 1.
