Georgia Tech President Bud Peterson has announced Associate Professor Dan Immergluck’s promotion to full Professor.

This well-earned decision reflects a distinguished record of teaching, scholarship and service that includes six years at Georgia Tech, three books, 27 refereed journal articles and the inaugural Student Planning Association's Quality Teaching Award.  Dan has supervised twenty Georgia Tech City and Regional Planning graduate students to graduation. Three of Dan’s students have won national awards for their own writings. Dan’s scholarship on housing finance and community development is very highly respected nationally. He has testified twice before Congressional committees and serves on the editorial board of four journals.

Dan is congratulated on this important milestone by the School of City and Regional Planning.
