Georgia Tech’s Relay For Life organizers are looking for students to fill executive board positions for the 2012 event. Students should have some experience with Relay For Life in the past, whether in during or prior to college, though no specific amount is required.

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s premier event that focuses on celebrating the lives of those who have battled cancer, remembering loved ones lost and fighting back against the disease. Teams are formed in advance of the event and camp out overnight, taking turns walking or running around a track or path. Relay For Life events are overnight to represent the fact that cancer never sleeps and take place toward the end of the spring semester, usually during April.

Descriptions of each role, along with specific questions and application instructions, can be found on the PDF to the right under "Related Files." Deadline is Friday, Sept. 2, at 5 p.m. Applications should be submitted to gtrelay.director@gmail.com.
