In addition to CEUs the professional education department offers more than 40 Certificate programs. For more information on distance learning, please call 404 894-3378 or go to www.cdl.gatech.edu.
How do I get a course catalog?
For our most up to date calendar of courses, including brochures, dates, pricing and online registration, visit our Web site at www.pe.gatech.edu.
Does Georgia Tech offer on-site training for businesses and outside organizations?
Yes, through contract courses that can be designed and conducted exclusively for a company's specific needs. Among the many companies that have taken advantage of this service are Cable News Network, The Coca-Cola Co., BellSouth, and Delta Airlines. These courses often cost less and are designed to help businesses and organizations. For more information, contact Nelson Baker, Associate Vice Provost, at 404.894.9658.
How do I balance the demands of the program with my career, my family life, and my personal needs?
The Executive Education programs are designed specifically for professionals who do not wish to leave their full-time positions. Classes meet periodically according to the program to give students time to complete assignments and meet other obligations. However, enrollment in the program is a large undertaking and will compete with other demands. You should carefully consider your decision to apply after securing the support of your employer, family, and other people who you depend upon.
I don't have the financial support of my employer. Can I still apply to the program? What type of Financial Assistance is available to program applicants?
To apply for financial assistance, please contact the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid on campus, at 404.894.4160 or visit their Web site at www.finaid.gatech.edu. Please remember that you are responsible for securing your own financial resources to pay for all program costs. It is your responsibility to maintain your payments in good standing in order to continue your participation in the program without interruption.
