Matt Ray, John Tarman, Kim Giroux, Parul Kapur, Lukas Haferkamp and Steven Beardsell were awarded $1,000 for their second place finish at the Spring 2012 Mechanical Engeering Capstone Design Expo. They created a rooftop solar panel mounting system, reducing material costs and installation time.
