Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any new features that augment or enhance the current Service, including the release of new data and/or material hereinafter referred to as "Georgia Tech Properties," shall be subject to the terms of use stated herein below.
The Georgia Tech Image Database exists to serve the needs of the Georgia Tech community for promotion of Georgia Tech. To access Georgia Tech Properties on the Database users must read and agree to the terms and conditions of use stated herein, which may be updated from time to time without prior notice. Use of Georgia Tech Services may also subject the user to any posted guidelines, policies or procedures applicable to such service. All applicable guidelines, policies or procedures are incorporated herein by reference. By clicking "Enter" on the referring page, the user agrees to voluntarily use the Services in accordance with the terms stated herein.
The user understands and agrees that the Service is provided "AS-IS" and that Georgia Tech assumes no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any user communications or personalization settings. Use of the Georgia Tech Properties is without any warranty. THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY SYSTEM OF GEORGIA (BOR) AND GEORGIA TECH, THEIR OFFICERS, AGENTS, AND EMPLOYEES, DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NEITHER BOR NOR GIT ASSUMES ANY LEGAL LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR FITNESS OF USE OF ANY CONTENT CONTAINED IN THE DATABASE, NOR DO THEY REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT SUCH USE WILL NOT INFRINGE THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OF THIRD PARTIES.
In consideration of being provided access to the Services, the user hereby agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless the BOR, Georgia Tech, and all of their officers, trustees, agents, employees and assigns from any and all legal liability, from any claim or demand, including attorney's fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of use of the Services, use of Georgia Tech Properties or other content contained in the Database, the users connection to the Service, breach of this agreement, or violation of any rights of another arising out of use of the content or Service.
The user shall give appropriate credit to the copyright holder listed in the "Copyright Notice" of the images. Most of the images are credited to GTRC/GIT (Georgia Tech Research Corporation/Georgia Institute of Technology) and should have either of the following credit lines:

The user understands he/she is fully responsible for the use of the Service and agrees to use it in accordance for the intended purpose. The user agrees to not alter images, reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit for third party usage or for any commercial purposes, any portion of the Service, use of the Service, use of Georgia Tech Properties, or access to the Service.
Any questions arising from use of the service or reports of violations of the Media Resource Archive should be directed to the Communications & Marketing Media Archivist.
The terms of use constitute the entire agreement with Georgia Tech in regard to the user's use of Services, and there are no oral representations, statements or agreements other than the terms provided for herein. By clicking "Enter" on the referring page, the user confirms to have read and understands the terms of use and agrees to be legally bound by such terms. The user understands that if he/she does not wish to agree to such terms, he/she may not access the Services.
