Doing the Highly Visible, Institutionally Unique, Technologically Outrageous, and Way Cool

Georgia Tech can create an established tradition of "Doing the Highly Visible, Institutionally Unique, Technologically Outrageous, and Way Cool."

How?

One idea:  By 2035, Georgia Tech will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the College of Music and Arts Technology by hosting the Tammy Awards (internationally recognized awards for Technology in Arts and Media*). As a high point of the event and for the first time in history, Ramblin’ Wreck is performed simultaneously by GT students, faculty, alumni, business partners, and internationally recognized entertainers on all seven continents, SeaLab III, and the International Space Station. Multiple versions of the song, representing a variety of cultures and performance styles, are immediately available for download with all proceeds going to Georgia Tech’s Global Economic Development Initiative.*
