Draft Strategic Plan Near Completion
The first public draft of Georgia Tech’s Strategic Plan is near completion, and will be posted on the Strategic Vision website the week of May 3. The draft plan is the result of collaboration between thousands in the Tech community over the past nine months, including faculty, staff, students, advisory boards, and friends. The plan includes a vision and five overarching goals to take the Institute to its 150th anniversary in 2035.
Once finalized, the goals and strategies in the plan will serve as a primary reference point for our academic and administrative units in looking for opportunities to help the Institute achieve its goals. A related survey will be posted to this site so that members of the Georgia Tech community have an opportunity to provide feedback through June 15. The final plan will be introduced in the fall.
The strategic planning process is charting a new course for Georgia Tech to provide greater agility in a rapidly changing environment, enable the Institute to make the best investments today to prepare for tomorrow, and help the people of Georgia Tech to better serve the state, nation, and world through our education, research, innovation, and service.
