The GT Symphony Orchestra presents the world premiere of the original soundtrack for Archaelund, an orchestral suite by composer-pianist Laura Ballestrino. This is to be followed by Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4, featuring Ballestrino on piano. The evening will conclude a performance of Sibelius’s Symphony No. 1, a work that draws upon lush, romantic motifs undercut by a persistent, chilly melancholy, marking the composer’s first foray into the world of symphonic music.
Admission is free and open to the public.
