Our Women in Music Speaker Series provides a platform for women who work in various aspects of the music profession to share their experiences with the campus community.
This semester, we are thrilled to host Dr. Sara Womack, the current Fine and Performing Arts Coordinator for Atlanta Public Schools. She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Music Education from the University of Alabama and her Doctor of Education in Music Education from the University of Georgia. She has taught music at various different elementary schools throughout Georgia and served as Adjunct Faculty for the University of Alabama. In 2021, Dr. Womack received the Georgia Music Educators Association Administration Leadership Award.
