Title: How to make a fighting fish: the genetics of domestication of Betta splendens

Abstract: Siamese fighting (betta) fish are among the most popular and morphologically diverse pet fish. In this talk, I will show how domestication shaped the betta genome, which genes were affected and what morphological, developmental, and behavioral traits these genes regulate.
