2022 NSA Codebreaker Student Challenge Award Ceremony

Please come join us as we celebrate Georgia Tech finishing 1st place overall in the 2022 NSA Codebreaker Challenge. Of the 228 students who participated, only 104 solved the challenge — and 19 of them came from Tech. The ceremony is scheduled for noon on April 6, on the 9th floor of Coda. Volunteers will be standing by to provide access to the ninth floor. Pizza will be served - RSVP as there is a 125-maximum capacity.

Noon - 1:30 pm: Pizza, Tech Talk, Student Panel

1:30 - 2 pm: Trophy Presentation

In addition to recognizing our student solvers, the event will include:

  • An NSA recruitment table. Students are encouraged to come by for NSA swag and marketing materials, and to give resumes to NSA representatives.
  • A Tech Talk by our 2023 Lead Developer, Akil Booker. He will go over the 2022 challenge and give the students a chance to meet the person leading the 2023 challenge.
  • A student panel of Top GT Codebreakers, led by Professor Taesoo Kim. Students will discuss how they prepare for the competition, what it takes to be a top Codebreaker, and what they hope to do in the future with this skill.
