Industrial Design (BS)

Focus: preparing students for a career in design practice as well as for graduate education in industrial design, the professional practice of creating products or enhancing the function, usability, value, and appearance of products with the goal of benefiting the user, manufacturer, community, and environment.

Is Industrial Design for Me?

Industrial Design (Minor)

The minor in Industrial Design will expose students to the field of industrial design, allowing them to better work on multidisciplinary teams where design is a central element. This minor will provide interested students from other disciplines at Georgia Tech accelerated access to the graduate program in Industrial Design.

History (Minor)

For students who want to broaden their educations, the study of history provides a context for understanding the world and develops analytical abilities, verbal and written communications skills, and the critical thinking that is the bedrock of active citizenship.

The minor in History is also good preparation for a broad array of careers, including business, education, government, and law.

Health Systems (MS)

Focus: developing, applying, and disseminating new knowledge with respect to the analysis, planning, implementation, demonstration, and evaluation of operational and managerial systems for the delivery of health care services to the public.

Health, Medicine, and Society (Minor)

The Health, Medicine, and Society minor is a program of study for undergraduate students who are interested in the health and medical professions.

Humanities and social science perspectives on health and medicine equip students to address important topics, such as the ethics of biomedical research, the nature of medical discovery, the relationships among race, health, and gender, the global impact of public health, and the cost of health care delivery.
