David Joyner

As the executive director of Online Education and OMSCS at Georgia Tech's College of Computing, David's expertise lies in the intersection of online education and learning at scale, especially within for-credit graduate and undergraduate programs. With a Ph.D. in human-centered computing from Georgia Tech, he has not only authored numerous research papers and two books, but also teaches extensively. His passion for leveraging emerging technologies to revolutionize education is reflected in his work. His expertise extends to the use of artificial intelligence for student support and assignment evaluation, cultivating vibrant online student communities in large classes, and developing sustainable and interactive online instructional materials.
