Focus: combining the knowledge, skills, and practices associated with the study of computer-based models of natural phenomena and engineered systems with integrated principles from mathematics, computer science, and engineering to be able to create significant computational artifacts (e.g., software).

This program combines a Bachelor of Science in Computational Media with a Master of Science in Digital Media. Students who want to pursue this five-year BS/MS combination must apply to the School of Literature, Media, and Communication after completing at least 75 credit hours of work towards the bachelor's degree in Computational Media

The Bachelor of Science in Computational Media degree provides students with both hands-on and theoretical knowledge of computing, as well as an understanding of visual design and the history of media.

The Computational Data Analysis minor will provide students with the necessary mathematical and statistical background to develop and apply various data analysis techniques to real world datasets. The minor has three main objectives related to knowledge, skills, and application:

The Planning Law dual degree:

The dual MS degree program in Public Policy and City and Regional Planning prepares students for policy analysis and planning work at the national, state, and local levels. Graduates work in public, private, and non-profit settings building on the complementary perspectives and skills of the two professions.

In addition to providing interdisciplinary professional training, the dual degree also provides the opportunity to step toward Ph.D. programs in either Public Policy or Planning with an emphasis on Urban, Environmental, or Economic Development Policy.
