Environmental Science (BS)

The B.S. in Environmental Science (ENVS) degree encompasses the study of natural environmental systems and the interaction of humans with these systems. It includes a strong foundation in the basic sciences, requiring core content in biology, chemistry, Earth sciences, environmental policy, mathematics, and physics, as well as communication, computational skills, field, and upper-level coursework builds lab. Students are encouraged to create a focused pathway of electives that corresponds to their interests and career goals.

Solid Earth and Planetary Sciences (BS)

The B.S. in Solid Earth and Planetary Sciences (SEP) degree is for students interested in developing mechanical and dynamic understanding of processes that control planetary behavior and are looking to apply Georgia Tech’s strengths in mathematics and computation to understand the evolution, future, hazards, and structure of planetary bodies, including Earth.

Aerospace Engineering (BS)

BS in Aerospace Engineering Overview

The Aerospace Engineering BS program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for a successful career in the aerospace industry. The program emphasizes analytical, experimental, and design aspects of aerospace engineering, allowing students to specialize in air or space-focused tracks.

Global Development (MS)

The Master of Science in Global Development is a 12-month program designed to prepare professionals for sustainable development work in governments, private development firms, and NGOs in developing countries, primarily in Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

Women, Science, and Technology (Minor)

The Women, Science, and Technology minor links science and technology issues to those issues more traditionally associated with women's studies.

The minor in Women, Science, and Technology prepares women and men majoring in engineering, science, social sciences, and humanities to live and work in an increasingly diverse world. The minor helps students develop their understanding of the human side of science and engineering involving not only gender issues, but inequalities of race and class as well.

Urban Analytics (MS)

The Master of Science in Urban Analytics degree is designed to give graduates a core of computing, planning, and data analysis and visualization skills to identify, analyze, and solve urban problems; to integrate those skills in an interdisciplinary way that other, single-discipline-oriented urban analytics degrees might not; and to provide depth in urban problems that can be addressed through data analytics. 

Urban Design (MS)

The Master of Science in Urban Design (MSUD) degree is oriented to those who wish to expand upon their previous professional education and professional experience, as architects, landscape architects, city planners, or civil engineers, and to enter urban design practices either in private firms or public agencies, or to pursue a Ph.D.
